A Look at Some Fun Comic Book Art 17/11/2012

Want to find out what Obama and Deadpool have been up to lately? All that and more in this weeks comic book art.

comic book

Not a big Deadpool fan, but issue one of the new series was pretty funny, this panel I loved.

comic book

Looks like Obama’s second term is going to be fairly eventful…

comic book

Love this Panel from Justice League, although Superman is kinda weirdly floating… I suppose he can fly..

comic book

Issue 0 of Superman was somewhat of a mixed bag. Rocafort killed it as usual, but Lobdell was slightly off his game I felt, but I loved this panel from the last page. Awesome stuff.

comic book

The Manhattan Projects from Image Comics continues to be as hilarious as it is brilliant.

comic book

Thor God of Thunder #1 was literally the first issue of Thor I’ve ever read, and it blew me away. This page is just striking, especially within the context of the story that is being told.

comic book

A great issue of Wolverine and the X-Men. There are translators online that can tell you what Doop is saying, although I prefer not knowing, what he actually says typically doesn’t live up to what you imagine.

Last, but certainly not least, is this page from Uncanny X-Men 19. Blew me away, I literally don’t think I’ve ever seen a better artistic interpretation of the Phoenix.

comic book

Feargal is the resident comics expert and scientist. When not working on his PhD in bioinformatics he can usually be found licking his nose and juggling.
